Double Chocolate Muffins Recipe

These Double Chocolate Muffins are rich, moist, and chocolatey, making them the ideal chocolate treat. They're simple to make and delicious for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• Two large eggs

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 15 minutes
• Cook Time: 20 minutes
• Total Time: 35 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
• Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
• In a separate mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
• Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
• Incorporate the chocolate chips.
• Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with batter and line with paper liners.
• Bake the muffins for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
• Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes in the tin before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
