Marble Muffins Recipe
These Marble Muffins are a tasty twist on traditional chocolate muffins. The combination of chocolate and vanilla batter results in a lovely marbled effect, and the addition of semisweet chocolate chips adds a little extra chocolatey goodness. They are ideal for breakfast or as a sweet treat at any time of day.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare a muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Cut the batter in half.
- Stir in the cocoa powder until well combined.
- Fill each muffin liner about 2/3 full with vanilla batter and chocolate batter, in that order.
- Swirl the batters together gently with a toothpick or knife.
- Bake the muffins for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
