These Oatmeal Bran Muffins are a nutritious and tasty way to start the day. They are high in fiber and nutrients because they are made with oat bran, whole wheat flour, and honey. They're ideal for a quick breakfast or a midday snack.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  • (190 degrees C).
  • Grease or line muffin cups with paper liners.
  • Combine the oat bran, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Separately, whisk together the milk, egg, honey, and vegetable oil.
  • Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  • Fill the prepared muffin cups about 2/3 full with the batter.
  • Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  • Cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
