Dark Chocolate Muffins Recipe

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
  • Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Combine the sour cream and dark chocolate chips in a mixing bowl.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, about 3/4 full.
  • Bake the muffins for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
